Dorothy is from Kansas so the Wizard of Oz did play a huge part in her name.  When I got Dorothy she was 8 weeks old and I though very small for her age.  She is not a large Frenchie but she has personality to spare.  Dorothy loves people and when people want to know if she will bite we tell them her only problem is not being able to "hold her licker."  Her personality plus attitude made her a star in the show ring.  On her very first trip into the ring for showing she received Best of Breed, and then received a Group IV Puppy.  We were very proud since this was the very first AKC conformation show we had entered.  The judge stated that she would have likely been Group I except for the fact that she jumped up and licked the judge in the face while she was on the table.  That was just a little over the top.
